Grilled Garlic Shrimp3 lbs. shrimp or prawns, 21-25 count or larger, peeled and deveined Thread both ends of the shrimp onto skewers through the back (deveined area) of the shrimp, forming a "C". Lightly season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Cook over a medium-hot grill for about three minutes each side, just until hot, firm and pink. Do not overcook. (You may need to adjust the cooking time for larger prawns.) Baste each side with melted butter shortly before they are finished cooking. Note: *You can also prepare this recipe with fresh garlic. Just add minced fresh garlic to the butter before melting it; eliminate the granulated garlic. Baste more than once.
