Easy Microwave Fudge Recipe

My neighbor brings my family and I fudge whenever she makes it. Nice. This is her easy microwave fudge recipe. No candy thermometer or soft ball stage stuff, just creamy, smooth chocolate fudge from the microwave. Don't forget to share.

Charmaine's Microwave Fudge Recipe

3 cups sugar
1 (5 1/3 ounce) can evaporated milk
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine the sugar, evaporated milk and butter in a 3-quart casserole dish. Microwave on medium-high (commonly 7, 70%, or roast settings) for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from the microwave and pour in the chocolate chips. Stir until they are melted. Add the marshmallow creme and vanilla, beating until blended.

Pour the fudge mixture into a buttered 12 x 9 baking dish. Chill until set, then cut into squares.

Makes 3 pounds.

Old fashioned, non microwave fudge recipe, candy thermometer and all.
