I never thought that "Great party, Liane!" would turn into GreatPartyRecipes.com, but it did.
It began as a little sanity-saver while I was unable to work, but before I knew it I was starting a web business. Not just a web site, but a web business in the top 1% of most popular sites.
Did you know that there are literally tens of millions of web sites out there... that no one knows about! The real question is not how to make a website but how to make a website pay.
Without a doubt I'd have been one of the undiscovered millions of the "all you have to do is build it and they will come" thinking had it not been for Site Build It!.
SBI!, for short, makes a web business "easy" in that all the specialized tools you need to create a web business, information, automation, and a mentor, are at your fingertips. But no, not miraculously easy. Realistically...
- there's a learning curve
- it costs a little money, not much
- it takes some time
I sometimes put long hours into my web site. On the other hand, I take three 7- to 10-day vacations each year. I don't work when I'm sick, when I need to run errands or even when I really just don't feel like it. And I still get paid.
Recently we had three out-of-town family emergencies. I barely looked at my site for six weeks, and then only to answer a few emails. But I still got paid and I wasn't in danger of losing my job.
That's the beauty of starting a web business.
